Good work clothes, sunburn and water are obviously important for yourself. And for your paint, you can use the FlowControl for a better temperature for processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-endeavour-wp-blocks-custom-spacer custom-spacer\"><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__mobile\"><\/div><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__desktop\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do you struggle with when painting in hot weather?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-endeavour-wp-blocks-custom-spacer custom-spacer\"><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__mobile\"><\/div><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__desktop\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When it is very hot outside and the sun is burning on the paint cans and the surface to be painted, it can be very difficult to paint. The paint is then simply too thin to apply a good covering layer.<br>Renowned Dutch monument painter Will Herreijgers uses his FlowControl on hot days to cool the paint to make it more workable. He puts cold water (possibly with crushed ice cubes) in the water reservoir and then places the insert vessel with paint in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-endeavour-wp-blocks-custom-spacer custom-spacer\"><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__mobile\"><\/div><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__desktop\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>We work with Flow-Control heated paint pots and put ice water in them in very hot weather, without using the battery of course. Works fine, the paint stays nice and lumpy and you can achieve the right layer thickness without any problems. &#8211; Dutch monument painter Will Herreijgers<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-endeavour-wp-blocks-custom-spacer custom-spacer\"><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__mobile\"><\/div><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__desktop\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the FlowControl insulates so well, the paint will stay at the right temperature even at high outdoor temperatures. Other measures you can take are to paint in front of the sun or apply shade and wipe the surface with a cool, slightly damp cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-endeavour-wp-blocks-custom-spacer custom-spacer\"><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__mobile\"><\/div><div style=\"height:1rem\" class=\"custom-spacer__desktop\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you never dilute paint with solvents if it is cold in the morning but higher temperatures are expected later in the day.
