FlowControl is a sophisticated system that works on the au-bain-marie principle. Are you using the FlowControl? Our tip is: when you are working in the wind, put the FlowControl out of the wind as much as possible, then your battery will need less additional heating and your battery will last longer.
Out of the wind
The batteries of the FlowControl at the bottom heat the water and therefore the paint. As the FlowControl is open at the top, this is where we lose most of the heat. Especially when there is a lot of wind, because then the batteries have to work very hard to keep the paint warm.
So our advice is: when you are working in the wind, put the FlowControl out of the wind as much as possible, then your battery will need less reheating and your battery will last longer.
You can also place a grey ring (like the one used in Store and Go) on top of your insert and place an insert as a lid on top. If you cut a big chunk out of that, you’re left with a useful windshield. That can easily add an hour of extra working time.
